In pictures 35,36, 37 and 38 I completely immersed myself in the matter, in GESTURALISM and in abstraction. It is the most abstract phase in my career. I call it 'Findings' and gave rise to the book which is entitled so. The book is available free on this website (click on link). Some of my 'teachers' in this phase were Richard Turtle, Richard Serra, Bruce Nauman, Linda Benglis and Alan Saret.
This book means finding the reason for
my life in a street which I had always avoided because that route could
make me be late for my destination.
